Pete Pain

Dr. Peter Pain has focused on exercise and fitness from an early age. From training for his 4 years as a starting linebacker for the Queens Golden Gaels and Vanier Cup Champion football team, completing several triathlons and marathons, to present day teaching and coaching the younger generations. Health and fitness also guided Peter in his chosen career as a chiropractor. Peter worked for years while in school as a personal trainer and fitness consultant, and continues to use fitness and exercise when helping his patients.
Peter believes that Crossfit and functional exercise is a key component to staying healthy and active. He loves to keep an eye on your technique while encouraging you to move well.

When Peter isn’t working with his patients at The LiveWell Centre or teaching Crossfit classes, he will be driving his 3 kids to their sports activities, or working out himself. You may also see Peter doing the odd Crossfit competition, trying to keep pace with the young guns!

Tera Pain

xfit-instructor-photo-1-1

Tera has always been heavily involved in sports, competition and the fitness community! While completing high school, she first starting coaching swimming and synchronized swimming while completing her Can Fit Pro Fitness Instructor and Personal Training certifications. These certifications spiralled into a love of fitness and instruction through group training, coaching and teaching swimming and personal training! It was during this time that her genuine love and interest for health and fitness became a passion.

In 2000, Tera followed this passion and officially became a personal trainer. Her main focus was educating clients about a healthy lifestyle both in the gym and outside of the gym! Work-life balance! It was over a decade later, that she began hearing rumblings about CrossFit and how much (given her past competitive / athletic side) she would enjoy it. In 2013, she finally completed her first (and to this day most gruelling workout) CrossFit experience and has never looked back! Everything since then is history!
