Our high quality, delicious food comes from animals that enjoy the natural environment in which they live; roaming fields, eating grass. Animals on our farm move through a rotational grazing system which improves the health and sustainability of our pastures and ultimately the soil. Building healthy, lush pastures for our animals is a priority. When you buy from our farm you are making a commitment to supporting a way of farming that honours the animal and the earth as well as contributing to the sustainability of family farms, our community and the local food movement  –  which is great for farmers and great for consumers who are getting the healthiest, best tasting, freshest food directly from the source.

Patchwork Gardens is an organic vegetable farm located in Battersea, just north of Kingston. We focus on soil health, which leads to nutrient dense and delicious vegetables. We grow a wide range of vegetables including salad greens, carrots, beets, cabbage, tomatoes and much more. We offer a winter CSA (monthly food box) and sell to many local businesses, grocery stores and restaurants. We also do an on-farm plant sale each spring.

Check out our social media accounts (instagram and Facebook) for updated information, our website: www.patchworkgardens.ca or email: info@patchworkgardens.ca

Roots Down Organic Farm was started in 2006 by Jeff and Sue Klug and is located north of Gananoque, near Seeley’s Bay. The farm CSA program is the cornerstone of the farm that provides our members with fresh, certified organic produce from baby-leaf greens in the Spring through to root crops in the Fall. During the season, June through October, members meet at pre-determined pick-up locations to receive that week’s share of the harvest.  Check out the website https://www.rootsdown.ca for more information.
